Huge airport. Was looking around for Alan Senator while Bob waited for the baggage. I rang up (bit of an expedient) then returned to see Ralph Senator who was and take us to and had met to pick us up our motel. He's a really nice guy. We settled in and paid for the one night. I went to sleep for an hour as Rob looked for a bank to change money to handle about $250 traveler's checks. He returned then we walked around, ate at McDonald's, went to the bank which doesn't exchange Aussie money; tried hitching then caught a bus to UCLA. Met the pom pom girls. Delightful dolls and Rob met this Yank Asian girl.
